12/29/19 Workout
Today’s WOD was definitely a quad and booty workout. Starting with some upper body strength and ending with a lower body and ab focused Metcon. I did a upper body warm up before doing the first strength portion, followed by a lower body warm up prior to the Metcon portion. This workout took about 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete, including warm up times and some stretching post workout. Also I can’t actually do a real pull up, let alone multiple, so I use bands to relieve some of my weight so that I can do the correct movement.
*If you are short for time and want to do a fast paced cardio workout just do the Metcon portion, can be done in less than 20 minutes.
*Some options if you don’t have a rower machine are: Run, Jump Rope, Jumping Jacks, Bike, etc. Anything to get some cardio for about 1.5 to 2 minutes long.
